The Chinese smart phone manufacturer Xiaomi plans to launch an improved version of Mi Mix 2 in 2018. Previously, the smartphone had to arrive during the Mobile World Congress 2018.

According to a report on GizmoChina, a user of the Chinese social media site Weibo said that the smartphone could be published in advance by MWC 2018. According to the filtered images, informed by Slashleaks, the smartphone comes with a screen of almost 100% of the bevel. The smartphone has even less openings compared to Mi Mix 2.

The filtered image on the website shows the front camera in the upper right corner of the smartphone and creates a notch in the upper right corner of the smartphone. The back of the device is almost the same, with a fingerprint scanner surrounded by a gold ring and which holds the pottery on the smartphone. It had to arrive with an iPhone X as a score, but the rumor was triggered with the filtering of the new image on the site.

The company will present its next flagship, the Mi 7, at MWC 2018 this year. Xiaomi has confirmed that the smartphone has a wireless charging option. According to previous reports, Xiaomi should have erased the fingerprint sensor and brought an iPhone-style Face-ID authentication system.
