After Airtel and Reliance Jio, it now appears Micromax is also set to launch a phone with enabled 4G features in India. The company started sending media invitations to an event on October 17, where it will launch the device. While Airtel co-operated with Karbonn, Micromax collaborated with BSNL to launch his laptop with 4G enabled features.

The invitation says: "Micromax and BSNL cordially invite you in their endeavour to connect Bharat." Going to the invitation, it looks like the company will launch the phone with the features of its Bharat device series. The phone will support 22 indigenous languages and will focus mainly on rural areas.

The company has not yet released any details on the smartphone. Last month, Micromax launched the Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 smartphones in India at a price of 4,499 and 4,999 rupees.

The Micromax Bharat 3 is powered by a 2000mAh battery, while the Bharat 4 has a 2500mAh battery. Lastly, while the previous phone has a built-in 8 GB archive, the latter has a 16 GB internal memory.

Returning to analogies, both devices are powered by the MediaTek MT6737 SoC along with 1 GB of RAM and run Android 7.0 out of the box. Both phones have a 5 megapixel camera at both front and back, and offer a microSD card up to 32 GB. In terms of connectivity, devices offer Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG and 4G connectivity.
