Micromax and BSNL soon launching new 4G mobile with Unlimited data and calls to counter JIO

Local phone manufacturer Micromax launched a "Bharat 1" 4G VOLTE mobile at 2,200 rupees and announced its partnership with Telecom BSNL phone operator status.

With "Bharat-1", Micromax and BSNL aim to provide a 4G population phone of 500 million India without Internet access. Collaboration will allow users to experience low cost data and receive unlimited calls and Internet services at Rs 97 every month.

"Both Micromax and BSNL have worked with the goal of bringing the next wave of users connected to the Internet. We will take this vision forward with 'Bharat-1' and create a convincing proposal for users, which is the first in the category "said Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Micromax, in a statement.

The phone works with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 mobile platform. "The launch of 'Bharat-1', powered by the Qualcomm 205 mobile platform, will inaugurate a new era providing access to 4G, VoLTE, payments and new opportunities to millions of users in India," said Larry Paulson, vice president and president , Qualcomm India.

The device comes with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB internal memory and has a 2000 mAh battery. The phone has a QVGA display of 2 to 4 inches, and a 2 megapixel rear camera with VGA front facing camera. The phone will support 22 languages ​​and start selling from October 20th.
