Clicking noice issue in Pixel 2 smartphone - Google's temporary fix.

After dealing with all kinds of screen problems, there is another problem with the Google Star smartphone. This time it's an audio problem: users on official Google forums and elsewhere are referring strange sounds to Pixel 2 speakers.

Customers complain of "clicks" and "high pitched wine" from Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Most reports in the forums say that noises come from the top or bottom speaker of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Some reports say that sounds are transmitted during calls, while other users say they play a loudspeaker every time the screen is turned on. A user performed a sound recording, which can be heard here.

Most users are called to return their devices after contacting the support, but at least one person claims to have been informed that this issue would be fixed in a next update. One possible solution is to disable NFC, which some users say stops or reduces noise.

Audio issues are the latest QA issue coming out of the hardware division of Google. The LG Pixel 2 XL screen is not up to the competition because it shows a grainy image with low brightness, color change and other problems. Google Home Mini also had problems. After constantly reporting reports due to a faulty top surface, Google has submitted an update to turn off the touch surface on all Google Home Minis forever. Google hardware is excellent when it works, but the evidence that the company has a quality control problem is building.
